COVID-19 has made us all rethink how we live and how we work. It’s a new way of thinking for all of us. And business is not “as usual” – it’s very unusual!
At Wisters, we do everything we can to keep our shop safe and sanitized. We offer hands-free pickup for florals and gifts during designated hours and have temporarily suspended in-store shopping – but we do offer a fun virtual shopping experience.
In the past few weeks, it has been impossible to obtain fresh flowers from our flower vendors since flower farmers are short on help to harvest them. Shipping has also been problematic. That means filling orders for floral arrangements has been impacted – and our heart breaks every time we have to say “we don’t have flowers today”.
However, we are able to get limited quantities of fresh flowers now and are getting them whenever possible. We know that flowers can bring a bright spot to your day during these difficult times. We will continue to scour our resources to find fresh flowers as often as possible.
One other thing is very important to us. We want our customers to know that we do what we do because we care about you and our community. We want to bring as much joy and happiness as possible to everyone. Yes, we make money when we sell things. But that’s not what drives our passion! It’s the joy and happiness that comes from flowers and fun gifts that motivate us to find creative ways to continue our business – even during these dark days.
