The Halifax County High School FCCLA students have a trip coming up June 27-July 4, 2024 in Seattle, Washington to compete in the National Leadership Conference. The HCHS team, comprised of 5 teenagers, will compete in Culinary Math, Nutrition, Hospitality, and Tourism. While there, they will also attend leadership workshops, explore possible careers, and learn from industry leaders. In order to participate, the team will need to make travel and accommodation arrangements. Help us support our talented, hardworking HCHS FCCLA team as they advance and plan a trip to Seattle! 100% of donations will support the HCHS FCCLA.

Support the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke

Wister’s owner, Amanda Day Rose, currently lives with dozens of brain and spinal tumors. She has received three brain and spinal surgeries through Duke’s Brain Tumor Center, and continues to receive treatment through her neurological team at Duke. On her journey, she has met many local residents who also receive care there! Amanda believes so much in the work and research the Brain Tumor Center at Duke does that she now is responsible for coordinating the Angels Among Us event each April in support of Duke’s Neurological Research and Clinical Trials. 100% of donations will support research at the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke.
